How to change the computer login password

Now days everyone is creating passwords to their laptops or desktops. Few persons did not like to his / her systems by others and few persons stores the confidential data in system. These are basic examples. With so many reasons peoples will create a password for systems. Now a days password is mandatory.

 How to change the Local account password in simple way:

o   If you know existing password, still you want to change the password. Follow the below steps to change it.

o   Press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys altogether from your keyboard. It will display few options on your screen.

o   From those options select the Change the Password

o   A new window will open. Here it will display multiple text boxes to change the password.

o   Then enter the Current password in current password text box

§  New password should be combination of lower-case letters, Upper case letters, numeric, special characters. After creating new password, store that in safe place.

o   New password should be entered in 2 textboxes. New password & Confirm password.

o   Then hit the right arrow symbol next to confirm password.

Next, click on Logout / sign-out button to reflect the new password changes. 

How to change (or) set the password with steps:

            You can set or change new password for your new systems in simple following steps. Create a strong password with alphanumeric, lower, and upper letters. You should remember / note down somewhere to do not forget. Because from next time onwards, your system login with a new password.

·   Click on start button
·   Click on setting with gear symbol
·   Click on Accounts then click on sign-in Options button of left side menu
·   Next, click on password (or) change 

If your seeing Ctrl + Alt + del in password button. Then follow steps of How to change the Local account password in simple way 

·      If your system is in domain or work group, you should login with domain or Microsoft login password. Then enter your current password.

·      If you are using Microsoft account, you will receive new code to change password to associated with your account. 

• Enter last 4 digits of your phone number. Then Click enter button.
• You will receive code to your mobile, then enter it.
• It would redirect to new page, enter new password & new password. Then click ok / enter button. 

If you follow the above steps, your password will successfully change.
