Every electronic device has its own properties and specifications. Based on those specifications’ device will works. Desktops & laptops have different specifications. Every device has its own specifications.

There are multiple ways to check the specifications of computer. Different users will use different options to check the system specifications (Hardware and software).

Method 1:

Click on start button

Click the Control panel in Programs (or) search for it

Next click on System and security.

Then Click on system. Details will show here.

Method 2:

Windows 10 / 8.1/8/7:

            To find the basic specifications Find the My Computer or This-PC in on Desktop screen. Right click on that Icon. In a new window it will displays the RAM, Processor, System type, windows versions.  In Left side menu you can find the other settings also, to check more info.

Windows 10:

            From above steps you can find the details.  You can also find in other way.

To find the details, Click on start button. Click on Setting button (gear icon symbol). Then Click on system link. Find the system details are Display, Sound, battery, storage, Power & sleep, clipboard, shared experiences.

Click on start button

Click on Settings (Gear symbol)

Then select the System

Method 3:

How to find the full Specifications in my computer

Specifications will use in different scenarios. You can find the details in the PC info window or Windows system.

·         Open the run box from start button (or) you can simply open with using windows button + R

·         Type the msinfo32 and click enter button.

·         A new window will open with System Information. It may take few seconds to open. You can find the complete information of system here.

·         You can check your system information window. In the default view you can find notable information.

Ø  OS-Name: this is the operating system version which is your using

Ø  Version:  You can find the OS version (pro / basic/ ultimate etc)

Ø  OS Manufacturer: OS offered company

Ø  System manufacture / Model: Manufacture of your system

Ø  RAM (Random Access memory) (or)installed physical memory: how much physical memory installed in your system

Ø  System Type: this is your system type. Which system type is installed 32-bit(x86) or 64-bit (x64) windows version

Ø  Processer: it indicates speed of your processer and displays model also.

You can find the 3 other sub-menus in system information

Hardware Resources: It will show your system hardware components

Components: it will display your hard drive & graphic cards details

Software environment:  it will show all your drivers, current running & start up programs.

These are basic information to check system software & hardware to install any software. These are all the basic information. You can find the full details in each section by clicking of menus. You can download the specifications in downloaded format. Export & save options are to save the specifications for further use. You can store any other storage devices. It will use for if your system will be in any trouble. It will help to System Technician to resolve the problems.

How to download full specifications:

·         Click on Start button

·         Search for System information

·         Click on file menu

·         You can check for Save & Export options

·         Choose the location to save the file.

·         Save the file name with ‘System Specifications’
